Join fellow WIFT-T members and a sampling of professionals from the filmmaking industry as they share their stories at an exclusive panel on Wednesday, September 6, 2006. The panel will discuss Development, Production and Distribution resources found on CanadianFilmmaker.com, making this session an exciting opportunity for anyone interested or working in the Canadian film industry.

Page Ostrow is aligned with associates who have a shared vision to deliver films to the marketplace that are thought provoking, compelling and entertaining. Films that inspire audiences to take action in life because of what they experience on the screen. In addition to functioning as the producers’ representative Page Ostrow holds Executive-producing and Co-producing credits on such films as Heavens Fall a film about the famous Scottsboro trial starring Timothy Hutton and David Stathairn to be released in 2006, Stolen Childhoods with Meryl Streep theatrically released in 2005, Sweat, a theatrical documentary that exposes the Nike sweat shop horrors to be released in 2006, and Juvies, a documentary about kids behind bars in adult prisons narrated by Mark Wahlberg which premiered on HBO in 2005, produced by Mark Wahlberg, Leslie Neal and John Densmore (The Doors).

A question-and-answer period will follow the formal panel discussion. The evening will conclude with an informal wine and cheese networking reception.
