REVIEW

Take a dose of the traditional boy meets girl format, add a dose ofgender power relations and a little bit of Beauty and the Beast, and there you have it: The most feel good Greek movie you've seen in decades.
Elias Fragoulis - Movies for the Masses

From the moment Haris and Ismini get together, romance and feeling start to rise and rise until they reach lift off, both metaphorically and practically, in a three color van, constituting Harisma one of the most unexpected successes of this year's Greek output.
Thodoris Karamanolis - Cinemart.gr

Adding the word 'greek' before cinema's most misunderstood genre, the romantic comedy, would normally seem like a joke. However Christina Ioakeimidi is not at all joking.
Manolis Kranakis - Ozon

A clever script that doesn't take the viewer for granted, that leaves enough space for both humor and tenderness, that is full of positive attitude, and has two wonderful actors at its centre... Behold, how Greek "commercial" cinema should be.
G. Krasakopoulos – Athens Voice

SYNOPSIS

Ismini is in her early 30s. She is cultivated, delicate and… emotionally handicapped. She has developed a simplistic system of defense to protect her emotions: no one is to come near. It is exactly the moment when this collapses, that unsophisticated, aggressive and greatly passionate
Haris falls into her way.

Ismini teaches at primary school. She also works with 6-year-old Panos who has learning difficulties. Ismini picks Panos up from his bus stop every day after school. Haris is the driver. Haris falls in love with Ismini the first day they meet. He announces it to her on the second day. On the
third, he already knows she is the woman he wants to spend his life with. Ismini is appalled by him.

In the following days, during which they constantly stumble upon their differences and personalities, they will both dare what they are mostly afraid of –abandon their safe shelters and realize their chance for true connection with one another.
